John Mark Jennings
LCSW
John Mark served in the United States Air Force from 1975 to 1979. He graduated from Western Kentucky University, majoring in Philosophy and Sociology. In 1989, he graduated from the University of Kentucky with a Master's Degree in Social Work. From 1990 to 1996, he attended the University of Louisville to become a Marriage and Family Therapist and a consultant. John and his wife, Jayne, began Family Options Inc., in 1998, which has allowed the opportunity to provide a variety of mental health, substance abuse and family therapy services to 18 counties in South-central and Western Kentucky. Although in rural areas, it is difficult to specialize in any one population, John has worked a lot with military veterans and people who have experienced trauma.

Tracy England
LCSW
Tracy is a 2011 graduate at Western Kentucky University, where she completed her Masters in Social Work. She is currently a LCSW at our Glasgow office. Tracy performs therapy for individuals of all ages, couples, and families. She additionally offers DUI and substance abuse services, including assessments, individual therapy, and outpatient groups. Tracy specializes in Expressive Therapy.

Ivan Jines is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with over 10 years of clinical experience. Ivan is based in Glasgow and provides a wide variety of therapeutic services for clients of all ages.

Elizabeth Mallette

Hi! My name is Elizabeth Mallette, LCSW. I have worked in the counseling field for the last 15 years. My experience includes case management and in home therapy for children at risk for out of home placement. I currently supervise case management and I am the Clinical Director for Family Options, Inc. I provide individual and family counseling to adults, adolescents, and children. I practice a variety of competency based counseling approaches including Solution Focused, Cognitive Behavioral, and Humanistic approaches. I have extensive training in working with those who have experienced trauma, and am trained in EMDR. I believe that each client is different and I will tailor your treatment approach based on your needs. I look forward to collaborating with you to address the goals you have regarding your physical and emotional growth and development. It is my hope that you will reach the end of counseling feeling prepared to deal with what lies ahead.

Brittany Whitehouse

Brittany received her Bachelor’s Degree at Western Kentucky University in 2019. Upon graduating with her BSW Brittany completed an internship focusing on Targeted Case Management and the resources Owensboro has to offer. In 2020 Brittany completed her Master’s Degree from an advanced standing program at WKU concentrating on Social Work in Rural Communities. Through the advanced Master’s Program Brittany had the opportunity to complete her internship at a local Psychiatric Children’s Hospital. Brittany has over 1,000 hours invested in internships focusing on the well being of children, adolescents, adults, and families. Brittany strives to provide an open and safe therapeutic space for all clients. Brittany enjoys integrating art and play therapy techniques during session.

Jonna Junker

Jonna received her Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology & Sociology at Knox College in 2014. She has a Master’s in Social Work from the University of South Dakota and is a Certified Social Worker in the state of Kentucky. Jonna has worked in the human service field for 7 years providing direct care in a residential setting to both adults and children with disabilities. She also has previous experience working as an in-home caseworker and assisting families with gaining essential resources. Jonna performs therapy for individuals of all ages, couples, and families. She strives to provide a non judgmental and supportive environment for all clients. Jonna enjoys integrating art and expressive therapy techniques within her sessions.

Ashlyn Jackson CSW
Ashlyn received her bachelor's degree at Western Kentucky University in 2019. Upon graduating with her BSW, Ashlyn completed an internship and an AmeriCorps service year focused on treating substance use disorder in a correctional setting and fighting against the opioid epidemic in the Owensboro-Daviess County area. In 2021, Ashlyn completed her master's degree from an advanced standing program at WKU concentrating on Social Work in Rural Communities. During the master’s program Ashlyn had the opportunity to intern with the mental health team in a local public school system. Ashlyn has over 1,200 hours invested in internships focusing on the mental health needs of people of all ages. Ashlyn offers a safe environment for children, teens, and adults to process emotions and enjoys educating her clients on strategies that provide sustainable healing.
